Care Review Clinician I - REMOTE

We have immediate openings for Remote Care Review Clinicians with an active, unrestricted LVN/LPN license to join our team in California or ANYWHERE in the U.S.! **PLEASE NOTE - This is a 100% remote position but IF YOU RESIDE OUTSIDE OF CALIFORNIA, YOU MUST HOLD AN ACTIVE LVN/LPN LICENSE FROM A COMPACT LICENSURE STATE - NO EXCEPTIONS! This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position. Candidates MUST have 1-2 years current or recent hospital-based clinical nursing experience, utilization management or case/care management experience to qualify.

Hours: full-time; 40 hrs/wk; 8:30am-5pm PST!!!

Salary: up to $35/hr (based on experience)

Job Requirements:
Knowledge about applicable state, and federal regulations. In-depth knowledge of references for length of stay and medical necessity determinations. Experience with NCQA. Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Products). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Maintains professional relationships with provider community and internal and external customers. Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

A minimum 1-2 years of hospital-based clinical nursing experience, utilization management or case/care management

Required Education: 
Completion of an accredited LVN/LPN program

Required Licenses/Certifications:
Active, unrestricted LVN/LPN license from California or ANY Compact Licensure State in good standing
