Our client, a major healthcare organization, has an exciting opportunity for Medicaid agents to join their team as Benefit Advisors with their Medicaid Enrollment Group in Long Beach, CA!


 


This is a contract position currently budgeted at 6 months (temp-to-hire for the right candidate) with a pay rate of $25/hr.


 


This position is fully remote to start but may transition to on-site once the client’s offices reopen.


 


Only candidates local to the Long Beach, CA area will be considered for this role.


 


Shift: Monday to Friday – 8 hours per day *shift times will vary between 5 AM and 7 PM PST*


 


JOB FUNCTION:
Responsible for increasing membership through direct sales and marketing of Medicare products to dual eligible, Medicare-Medicaid recipients within approved market areas to achieve stated revenue, profitability, and retention goals, while following ethical sales practices and adhering to established policies and procedures.


 


Day-to-day responsibilities include making outbound or taking inbound calls - assisting callers with selecting a health plan to enroll in, as well as guiding callers through the application process. 


 


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensure Medicare beneficiaries accurately understand the product choices available to them, the enrollment process (eligibility requirements, Medicare review/approval of their enrollment application, timing of ID card receipt, etc.) and the service contacts and process.
• Track all marketing and sales activities, as well as update and maintain sales prospects daily, weekly, and monthly results in SalesForce.com.
• Creates opportunities in the community with co-sponsored forums, events and presentations to reach and educate the community on company programs to build enrollment.


 


***This job requires the ability to be able to effectively sell the most appropriate health plan to potential enrollees - these are not just customer representative or call center roles - these roles are truly geared to salespeople that are motivated to sell and close deals

Required Qualifications :

REQUIREMENTS:


High School Diploma/GED


1+ years in a related role
Medicaid experience
MUST have strong communication skills


 


PREFERRED:
Sales experience


Life & Health (Disability) Agent license
