Job Description :
Our client is looking to add some Certified Coding Specialists (CCS) with hospital experience to their team.
This contract position (possibility of extension or direct hire for the right candidate) offers a starting pay rate of $40/hour (benefits are available).
**Only candidates with Hospital coding experience (not ProFee) will be considered for this role**
Responsibilities of the CCS include but are not limited to:
- Compile and keep medical records of patients of health care delivery system to document patient condition and treatment.
- Check medical records for completeness and to abstract and code clinical data, such as diseases, operations, procedures, and therapies, using standard classification systems.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent AND CCS certification- Required
- 1+ year of experience with medical coding for a hospital- Required
- Oncology coding experience- Strongly Preferred
